Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent vibration of an engine from transmitting to the hull, by fixing one side of an inner sleeve or an outer sleeve of each buffer to the side of engine and by fixing the other side of it to the side of hull.
CONSTITUTION: The vibration of the engine itself is fully absorbed by the elastic force of elastic bodies 33 and 43 which are respectively a member of each buffer 30 and 40, and is scarecely transmitted to the side of hull. As for the engine 10, both sleeves 31 and 32 on the bow side of engine are constructed so that they are hard to be displaced in their radius directions and its shaft core is supported through the buffer 30 located in the stem and stern direction to the hull. While, both sleeves 41 and 42 on the stern side of engine are constructed so that they are hard to be displaced in their radius directions and its shaft core is supported through the buffer 40 located in the upward and downward direction to the hull. Therefore, the support part on the bow side of engine 10 is hard to be displaced in the upper and lower, and the right and left directions to the hull, while, that on the stern side of it is hard to be displaced in the front and rear, and the right and left directions to the hull.
