Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a substantial coincidense between a tangential line of a steering trace of a vehicle and a moving direction of the vehicle as well as to facilitate an operation of the vehicle by a method wherein rear wheels are steered in proportion to the steering angle of front wheels only in a specified range of the steering angle of the front wheels. CONSTITUTION:Rod 17 is extended rearwardly from a suitable part of the front wheel steering mechanism 16, and the moving cam member 18 is connected to the rear part of said rod. The moving cam member 18 is stored in the case 19 fixed to the rear part of the chassis in such a way as it may be reciprocated in a forward or rearward direction. Cam groove 20 is formed at the surface of the cam member 18. Pin-shaped engaging member 21 is slidably engaged with the cam groove 20, and said engaging member 21 is integrally formed with the rod-shaped rear wheel steering member 23 extending in a right and left direction.
