Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the automatic detection and cut-off of the faulty point, by connecting plural numbers of data transmission stations in a loop shape by the main and spare transmission lines having the transmitting directions opposite to each other and then giving a selective control to the combination of the transmtting and receiving circuits. CONSTITUTION:Data transmission stations ST121-12n are connected in a loop shape by main transmission line L1 and spare transmission line L2 which have the transmission directions opposite to each other. The transmitting and receiving circuits are provided to data transmission/reception part 101 to be connected to lines L1 and L2 of each ST, and thus the combination of the transmitting and receiving circuits can be selected by the control of microprocessor 103. At the same time, reception timer 102 is provided to give a monitor to the received input state to start counting when the received output is interrupted. And this cout-up time CU is set to differ with every ST. System recovery function SVC is provided to at least two STs having a short CU time each, and thus a command is given from ST of the SVC to give a selection to the combination of the transmitting and receiving circuits of ST near the faulty point by use of line L2. In this way, an automatic reconstitution is secured for the system.
