PURPOSE: To obtain a digital stopwatch suitable to measure total time or the like in consideration for a plurality of lap times and loss times, by constituting said stopwatch in a microprogram manner.
CONSTITUTION: When the start switch is operated, counters C1WC4 start counting up. On the other hand, count of more than minute is performed by calculating carries from the counter C4 through an operational processing circuit 17, an RAM19 and the like according to the microprogram order from an ROM18. When a lap switch is depressed, the count contents are stored in the register of the RAM19. When the switch to obtain the lap time is depressed, every time said switch is depressed, the subtraction for the contents of the RAM19 is performed in the operational processing circuit 17 according to the microprogram order from the ROM18, and respective lap times are displayed 4 through a display decoder 3-2.
