Abstract

PURPOSE: To develop cracks in soil for alleviating the blade of an excavator of excavating resistance of the subsoil by jetting compressed air from the frontal portion of the blade.
CONSTITUTION: When PTO shaft 12 is operated and begins to advance forward, a rocking plate 15 moves vertically a rocking arm 8 centering on a support pin 9 by means of rotation of an eccentric shaft 11a, whereby a blade 6 can perform excavation while vibrating back and forth. An excavator 5 also goes forwards while repeating back and forth movements, compressed air supplied from a compressed air generator 14 through the area being excavated by a blade 6 aiding the formation of a culvert 7b by a projectilelike trencher 7 and also by the excavator 5 is continuously jetted at the frontal area of the blade 6 from a nozzle 14d, whereby cracks are developed in soil and excavation by the blade 6 is promoted. The compressed air is dispersed underground, goes up, and escapes to the ground surface, during which period soil is expanded and softened and also the way of escape for the compressed air makes better drain path to surface water.
