Abstract
PURPOSE:To supply molten metal smoothly to the hole in an injection sleeve by inserting an insert communicating the inside hole of a nozzle communicating with a molten metal feeder and the inside hole of the injection sleeve in the molten metal supply port near the plunger tip retreat end of the injection sleeve by way of a heat insulating collar. CONSTITUTION:An insert 19 having an inside hole 22 communicating the inside hole 21 of a nozzle 20 communicating with a molten metal feeder and the inside hole 16 of an injection sleeve 11 near the leading end of a plunger tip 12 in a retreat position is inserted by way of a heat insulating collar 18 into the molten metal supply port 13 provided below said sleeve 11, and a nozzle device is engaged to the insert 19. Refractory metal or heat-resisting alloy of >=0.15cm<2>/sec/cm<2>/cm/ deg.C heat conductivity is used for the insert 19 and a powder sintered material of 70-90% densities havindg <=0.02cm<2>/sec/cm<2>/cm/ deg.C heat conductivity is used for the heat- resistant collar 18.
