Abstract
PURPOSE:To relieve shock during changing over and reduce the variance in the stop position of an original plate or an optical system by applying the brake at the changing over of forward and backward movement of a reciprocative moving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The scanning signal and reset signal from a control part 11 are outputted during the time when a movable optical system moves forward from a switch HPSW2 up to a switch RESW2, and during the time when it moves backward from the switch RESW2 up to the switch HPSW2. Said system moves foward when a clutch 37 for scanning goes on and moves backward when the clutch 37 goes off and a clutch 38 for resetting goes on. On the other hand, along with the alternate changes of the output of a square wave oscillating circuit 13 to ''1'', ''0'', the outputs of an AND circuit 26 and an OR circuit 33 change to ''1'' and ''0'', and a driving circuit 36 periodically turns the clutch 38 on and off, by which the driving force in the direction opposite from the forward moving direction is applied upon the movable optical system, and the brake is applied.
