Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate an uncomfortable sound when secrecy is not solved by discriminating the difference between a transmitted spectrum and a reverse converted spectrum by a filter and then by controlling a received voice output according to the discrimination result. CONSTITUTION:A transmitted input signal is converted under a prescribed rule and a transmitted signal containing secrecy is received by a receiving circuit 22 from the receiving input terminal 1 of a receiver; and the output of the circuit 22 is applied to a converting circuit 24 and the signal received by the circuit 22 is converted reversely of the conversion of a transmission side by the output of a conversion rule generating circuit 23. This reverse converted voice output is applied to a post-processing circuit 25. As this circuit 25, a filter which extracts part of the output frequency spectrum of the reverse converted voice output is used to discriminate the difference from a transmitted spectrum, thereby discriminating whether the secrecy is solved or not. According to the discrimination result, the sound volume of the voice output to be supplied to a receiving circuit 26 is controlled to prevent an uncomfortable sound from being contained in a voice outputted from a voice output terminal 27.
