Abstract
PURPOSE:To attempt size reduction of a deflection coil as well as facility to take it out alone, by winding the deflection coil in a section-shaped and saddle-type form around the inner surface of a semiannular winding frame on which the conductor engagement groove is formed through the conductor engagement groove. CONSTITUTION:A semiannular winding frame 1 consisting of an insulating material is composed of a semifunnel-shaped main body 2 and winding guide sections 3 and 4 installed on the front and rear ends 2a and 2b. The guide sections 3 and 4 consist of a collar piece 5 formed at right angles to the main body 2 and a number of L- shaped hook pieces 6 that extend in axial and radial directions of the tube axis and form a cross-section of U shape. Conductor engagement grooves 7 are formed among the respective hook pieces 6 and a deflection coil 8 engages and hooks a single or a number of conductors 8a in the conductor engagement grooves 7. The deflection coil 8 is also wound in a section-shaped and a saddle-type form on the inner surface of the winding frame 1 by crossing a crossover wire 8b in a concave S which is formed by a collar piece 5 and a hook piece 6. Current is applied to the wound deflection coil and the conductor 8a is molded in a saddle-type form.
