Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce envelope distortion remarkably, by providing an automatic level control means in which the gain is made variable with time so as to reduce level of chroma signal is to a given value by the timing in synchronizing with the horizontal scanning in an image sensing means. CONSTITUTION:From a video output Ev corresponding to an objective 12 obtained at an image sensing means 16, a luminance signal Ey and a chroma signal Ec1 are respectively separated via an LPF18 and BPF20 to input the chroma signal to an automatic level control means 34.
