Abstract

PURPOSE:To constitute a filter so that it is suitable for circuit integration, by using a variable gain amplifier and a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:When a signal is fed to the base of a transistor (TR)Q1 from a signal source 1, this signal is amplified differentially by TRs Q1, Q2, and further differentially amplified by TRs Q6, Q7 and picked up from the connection point between the collector of TRs Q6, Q9 and one end of a capacitor C1. Since the collector output of the TRs Q6, Q9 is negatively fed back by 100% to the base of the (TR)Q2, the gain of an amplifier 2 is 1. If the naked gain of this amplifier 2 is taken as A1, the output impedance R of this amplifier 2 is R=2R1A1. Thus, this circuit operates as an LPF and the output of the LPF is picked up at a terminal T2. A cut-off frequency fC of the output of this LPF is fC=1/4piC1R1A1. Further, if the value of the resistor R1 is in variance, the cutoff frequency fC can be compensated by changing, for example, the collector current of a (TR)Q3 and changing the A1 to the reversing direction.
