PURPOSE:To obtain the titled oscillator with small size and excellent frequency temperature characteristics, by cutting out piezoelectric elements of almost rod shape having two flat planes from a piezoelectric material plate in parallel with the X axis-Z' axis plane, by using a grinder having a plurality of concave semicircular shaped grooves.
