Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the adjustment of mixture ratio of water and hot water, by providing a single valve to control not only the supply of the water but also that of the hot water.
CONSTITUTION: A liner 13 extends into the first chamber 1 so that the tip of the liner 13 in the chamber serves as the first valve seat 14 and penetrates a spindle 15 in the axial direction. A control valve element 18 is provided on the inner end of a spindle 15 and slidably penetrates the passage hole 9 of the first partition wall 4. The front end face of the valve element 18 corresponds to the second valve seat 11 and the rear end face of the valve element 18 corresponds to the first valve seat 14. Water in the first chamber 1 flows through between the first valve seat 14 and the rear end face of the control valve element 18 and through the interior of the valve element and enters into the third chamber 3. Hot water in the second chamber 2 flows through between the second valve seat 11 and the front end face of the control valve element 18 and enters into the third chamber 3. The ratio of the water and the hot water which enter into the third chamber 3 is controlled by the change in the distances between the valve element 18 and the first and the second valve seats 14, 11 due to the displacement of the valve element 18.
