Abstract
PURPOSE:To identify the content of malfunction of a chopping circuit according to the output voltage and current of the chopping circuit and the logic of a chopper command signal. CONSTITUTION:A chopping detecting circuit 41 detects the output voltage of a chopper circuit 1 and an output current detecting circuit 43 detects the output current. A base driving circuit 45 controls a chopper transistor 12 in response to the output signal of a chopper command circuit 44. A display unit 46 receives the output signals from the circuits 41, 43 and 44 and turns ON display lamps A-C. A logic circuit 47 produces a malfunction signal (a) meaning the malfunction state in the logic of the respective signals and hence stops the circuit 45.
