CONSTITUTION:Synchronizing part gate circuit 48, hold circuits 51 and 52, comparing circuit 55, and a means which controls the output of detecting circuit 54 by the output of circuit 55 are provided, and these circuits are operated only in the recording mode. Thus, if noise components are superposed into the burst signal position for a weak electric field at the white-and-black broadcasting time, the level of noise components is detected by hold circuits 51 and 52 to set the output of comparing circuit 55 to a low level. As a result, the output of detecting circuit 54 is set to a low level sufficient to obtain the color killer operation, and the output of recording amplifying circuit 59 is turned off.
