CONSTITUTION:After receiving a signal from a CPU1, a reception part 2 transfers its data part to a buffer 3. A phrase keyword KW from the buffer 3 is stored in a keyword register 4 temporarily and on the basis of this keyword KW, a phrase code table 5 is retrieved. A phrase code JC from the table 5 is used as an address to read a ''kanji'' character generator 6 and a phrase pattern signal KC is led to the entry area 7a or menu area 7b of a picture memory 7 via a screen memory control part 8. The control part 8 writes it in the area 7b when there are homonyms or in the area 7a when not. Consequently, an operator only selects one of the displayed homonyms in the area 7b, so that a load on opeation is reduced.
