Abstract

PURPOSE:To project a trimming effect on a television screen and to determine a field angle without exposing photographic paper, by inserting a reference line for the determination of a picture position into a picture on a color film. CONSTITUTION:An image on a negative film 15 is formed on the photosensitive surface of the image pickup device 18 of a telecamera 17 via a lens 16, etc., and then converted into a color television signal, which is inputted to an adaptor 20. The adaptor 20 converts the signal of the negative film 15 into a positive color signal. In a marker generation part 21 for trimming, a prescribed circuit inserts horizontal and vertical reference lines into the film picture at an optional position. For this purpose, a signal from an output terminal 10 is inputted to a television receiver to obtain a positive color image having trimming specifying lines, HF, VF, etc. Consequently, a field angle is determined accurately without exposure.
