Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent copied film well balanced in blackening degree by regulating the quantity of light by using a cathode-ray tube as a back light for copying photography and by making a partial adjustment of luminance at a prescribed level which corresponds to the brightness and darkness of an exposed film. CONSTITUTION:To a scanner 2, a processing circuit 6 for picture signals is connected, and this circuit measures the degree of light and darkness on the basis of data from the scanner 2 when the quantity of light from a back light is constant. An optional picture signal which corresponds to the partial density of a film after photography is supplied to the control circuit 7 of a CRT8 with a constant matching with a tested photograhic film and the film after photography. This constitution makes adjustments of luminance of respective parts on the CRT screen, on the basis of data obtained by detecting the blackening degree of the film after photography, to prescribed levels which correspond to the blackening degrees, so that an excellent well-balanced copied picture is obtained.
