Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain uniform calcination of a piezoelectric sheet by forming a three- component solid solution piezoelectric sheet using PbSr(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 and PbTiO3 as well as PbZrO3, and specifying the porosity of MgO setter for suppressing the calcination when calcining it. CONSTITUTION:Cake is formed by employing PbSr(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 and PbTiO3 as well as PbZrO3, is extended in thin thickness to form a sheet. Then, the cake is calcined to form a piezoelectric sheet by employing a setter for interposing it therebetween having a porosity of 15-25% of MgO. In this manner no warpage nor crack occurs at the sheet, nor PbO is scattered to eliminate the irregular electric characteristics to uniformly calcine the cake so as to enhance the yield of the cake.
