Abstract
PURPOSE:To establish a digital communication efficiently with low cost, by assigning a given section appeared with a start or stop bit for the transmission of electric power, in a digital communication system using a start-stop synchronizing signal transmitting method. CONSTITUTION:At sections A, C transmitting electric power, a signal of X=0 is transmitted from a CPU, and since a negative voltage V2 appears at a signal line L1 against a common line L2, a current flows to a transformer of interfaces INF1-INFn of a terminal device and a DC positive voltage is fed to terminal devices T1-Tn. On the other hand, when the signal line L1 comes to a signal transmission section B, no current flows to the transformer since it is at positive potential with the common line L2. The terminal devices T1-Tn are controlled with the inversion signal of SIG1 appeared on the signal line L1. When a signal train is fed from the terminal devices T1-Tn to the CPU, the inversion signal of SIG3 appears on the signal line L1, it enters the INF of the CPU side and fed to the CPU for a given operation control.
