Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor having an electrically conductive layer not lowering the accuracy of the support with superior productivity by interposing a layer of an ultraviolet curing type electrically conductive resin between the support and a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:A layer of an ultraviolet curing type electrically conductive resin is interposed between the support and the photoconductive layer of an electrophotographic receptor having the photoconductive layer on the support by applying an ultraviolet curing type electrically conductive coating. Preferred resin content of the coating is about 5-100pts.wt. to 100pts.wt. of electrically conductive powder, and preferred thickness of the resin layer is about 1-20mum. As the conductive metallic powder of Au, Ag, Ni, Cu or stainless steel is used, and the ultraviolet curing resin includes epoxy resin, urethane resin and silicone resin. Since said coating has high film-curing speed and superior solvent resistance, other resin layer is laid easily. For example, it is advantageous to a case where a photoconductive layer is laid by dispersing a powdered photoconductor in resin, and an insulating resin layer is further laid.
