Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the operability for a moving device of a microscope for surgical operation, by attaching a microscope via a casing to the free end of a rack arm which can turn within both the horizontal and vertical surfaces and then storing a driving mechanism into the box to move the microscope, the housing and others. CONSTITUTION:A casing 2 consists of two parts 2A and 2B, and the part 2A is attached turnably around the shaft 5 to the part 2B. A pair of grips 8A and 8B are attached to the outer wall of the part 2A. Thus a microscope can be moved to an optional position by holding these grips. In this case, these grips 8A, 8B are attached freely turnably to drive a switch by turning these grips. The drive source motor of the driving mechanism incorporated into the housing 2 is controlled by turning on and off the switch. Thus the microscope can be operated while holding the grips to simplify the handling.
