Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce adjusting time for position alignment during assembling of parts, reduce the number of parts of the device and facilitate provision of accuracy by adding the function of an assembling unit to the punch which blanks parts from a continuous material.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of assembling a part 3' supplied by a continuous material 3 to a reference part 6, a punch 4 is lowered to blank the part 3'; at the same time, the inside of a tube 7 is evacuated to vacuum, whereby the part 3' is sucked to the tip of the punch 4. In this state, the punch 4 is forced downward and the punch 4 is rotated by a cam mechanism formed of a pin 8 and a cam shaft 9, by which the part 3' is rotated up to the assembling position, where it is inserted into the part 6. After this, the punch 4 returns to the home position, the part of the continuous material and the next new part as a part to serve as a reference are transferred and the above-mentioned operation is repeated.
