CONSTITUTION:A pyrolitic graphite electrode 12 is inserted into the inner wall of a metal cylinder 8 made of metal having high heat conductivity such as Cu which is also used as a vacuum casing. The electron beam arrived through the collector inlet will collide against the inner face of said electrode 12 to produce the heat energy, and in general almost all of the arrived electron beam will collide against the bottom 11 of collector. The heat produced from the bottom 11 of the collector is transmitted through the pyrolitic graphite electrode 12 to a metal cylinder 8.
