Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the heat collection efficiency of the solar heat collector by making the diameter of a vacuum glass pipe at a part through which a heat collecting pipe penetrates, smaller than the diameter of the vacuum glass pipe at other part.
CONSTITUTION: A heat pipe made heat collecting pipe 3 bonded to a heat collecting plate 2 penetrates through an evacuation leading-in pipe 10 and is bonded to the heat collecting plate 2. Here, a special alloy made metal cap 8 having a heat expansion rate substantially the same as the glass is bonded to a glass cap 9 through a frit 6. The cap 9 containing the heat collecting plate 2, the cap 8 and the like are bonded to the vacuum glass pipe 1 at a glass bonded part 12. By this procedure, since there is no part having a diameter greater than the diameter of the vacuum pipe 1, the vacuum pipe 1 can be arranged in tight adhesion with the adjacent vacuum glass pipe, and hence the heat collection efficiency is increased.
