Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid stalling on a road, by providing such an electronic circuit that fuel injection under prescribed conditions is enabled even if the abnormal intake air pressure detector of an engine with a turbosupercharger develops a trouble.
CONSTITUTION: The abnormal pressure of sucked air in a turbosupercharger is detected by a pressure switch 17. An abnormal intake air pressure signal (h) is entered together with a throttle's entire closure signal (g) into the OR gate 43 of a fuel supply stop circuit 40. The output of the OR gate 43 and that of a circuit 41 for comparison of engine's rotational frequency (b) are entered into an NAND gate 42. When an AND is made in the gate 42, an output O is produced to stop fuel injection by a fuel supply signal (a). Even if the abnormal signal is generated due to a trouble in the pressure switch 17, the AND is not made and the fuel injection is continued provided that the engine's rotational frequency is not higher than a prescribed level. As a result, stalling on a road is avoided and get-out-of-the-way running or running to repair facilities is enabled.
