Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce high efficiency air-cooled blades along the camber line while assembling and interconnecting each divided pieces of blank for forming air cooling paths of complicated configuration.
CONSTITUTION: Each of blade blanks A, B are worked and formed into their final shapes that can be figured out by dividing air-cooled blade approximately parallel to its camber line C (a line dividing the blade into the front side and back side). Then, the blade blanks A, B are combined with each other and bonded at the bonding edges to provide air-cooled blades having cooling paths in the interior.
