Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the formation of the earth parts to be connected to inspection circuits and make continuous execution of inspections for various items possible by filling fluid conductive members in the enclosing boxes on the outer side of attachment plugs to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:Inspecting plugs are inserted into a rotating inspection unit table 130 in processes A, A', A'', and in a process B, enclosing boxes 131, 132 are closed. In a process C, and dielectric strength across plug terminals 21 is inspected, and in a process D, the conduction and megger between the terminals 21 and cords are inspected. Further, in a process E, small metallic balls are fed from a rotary feeder 151 into the boxes 131, 132, and in a process F, the dielectric strength between the terminals 21 and plug molding bodies 23 is inspected. The inspection time of each process is determined by the turning speeds of an endless tracked chain 122. In processes G1, G2, the boxes 131 and 132 are opened to discharge the samll metallic balls, and the small balls are returned to a hopper 152 and the feeder 151. In a process H, the plugs are removed, thus completing the entire part of a series of inspections.
