Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately measure the article which is easily entangled, in a plurality of devices wherein the article to be measured is supplied to automatic measuring hoppers provided on both sides from a supplying hopper having horizontal swing plates, by opening only the hopper so that the sum of the article slightly exceeds a specified amount. CONSTITUTION:The article to be measured, which is easily entangled, e.g., Kinusaya pease (a kind of Japanese pease), is uniformly supplied into the supplying hopper 1, wherein plates 9 which swing by about 45 deg. up and down is provided. The Kinusaya pease is transferred by a conveyor 5 having guiding protrusion 6 for a specified time from outlets 4 on both sides of the bottom of the hopper 1, supplied into pool hoppers 10, and reduced to 1/3-1/7 the amount to be measured. The Kinusaya pease is sent to measuring hoppers 12 and measured by automatic measuring devices 11. The values obtained from a plurality of the automatic measuring devices 11, e.g. 10 devices, are combined in a computing circuit (not shown). The hoppers 12, containing the Kinusaya pease whose added value is equal to or slightly larger than a specified value, is opened, and the Kinusaya pease are collected by a collecting hopper 14 and inputted in a box 16. In this constitution, agricultural products such as the Kinusaya pease which are easily entangled can be accurately measured and packed.
