Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent printed characters from decoloring under high temperature and high humidity conditions, by compounding dialdehyde starch as a thermosensitive color-forming layer and a binder in a costing layer. CONSTITUTION:On the opposite surface of a supporting body coated with a ferromagnetic recording layer is applied a thermosensitive color-forming layer consisting mainly of a leuco substance which is ordinarily colorless or slightly colored and an acid substance effecting the color formation of the leuco substance, such as alpha- naphthol or 4-t-butylphenol, together with a binder, and dried. At this time, while polyvinyl alcohol, methoxycellulose or the like is compounded as a binder, a coating layer containing dialdehyde starch is further formed on the thermosensitive color- forming layer. By adding the dialdehyde starch in an amount of 30% or more as the binder and by using a water-soluble polymer together, a magnetic ticket sheet having a clear color tone and a surface not faded or decolored even when wetted is obtained.
