Abstract

PURPOSE:To transfer information to be transferred to the central processing device rapidly, by causing the terminal to oscillate the unit pulse of its own number to communicate with the central processing device when the terminal has informtion to be transfered to the central processing device. CONSTITUTION:The central processing unit transmits repeatedly unit pulses, whose number is equal to the number of terminal units, consisting of different pulse groups synchronously with the pulse train arranged in a prescribed order. In case that each terminal unit has information to be transmitted, the signal which can be discriminated from the unit pulse is output when the terminal unit itself transmits the unit pulse corresponding to the terminal unit, and th central processing unit transmits this signal and displays it on display circuit 8 and stops transmission of the pulse train together with the terminal unit during a prescribed time required for information receiving. Consequently, one cycle when respective termial units are called repeatedly is shortened considerably.
