Abstract
PURPOSE:To extend the memory beyond the addressable range of the microprocessor. CONSTITUTION:Main memory 12, data memory 13, and flip-flop control circuit 14 are connected to microprocessor 10 through address bus 11, and address information generated in microprocessor 10 are supplied to them. The control program by which microprocessor 10 performs a prescribed control is stored in main memory 12, and the rest part of main memory 12 is used as the data area where this program reads and writes data. Date memory 13 is used as the dada area covering the shortage of main memory 12. The access control of main memory 12 and data memory 13 is performed by flip-flop control circuit 14.
