Abstract

PURPOSE: To make operation more efficient by providing valves and air feed pipe groups changing over the functions such as pipeline resistance measurement, pipeline airtight testing, injecting and discharging of sealants into and from piping in a device for coating inside surfaces of gas pipings or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The device consists of the 2nd unit U2 consisting of a blower 8 generating pressurized air, apressure regulating valve 10 for measuring pipeline resistance, and an air feed pipe group A2, plus the 1st unit U1 consisting of a foam sealant generator 1 for foaming the sealant by sending air into a storage tank 1a for liquor sealant, and an air feed pipe group A1. The valves V1WV6, and 3-way valves 14 provided to these units U1, U2 are properly operated and a pipe 5 is connected to a piping M. In this case, pressurized air is fed into the piping M via the valve 10 by the blower 8, and leakage is examined from its pressure drop. Next, the air is fed into the foam generating pipe 1b and the foam sealant S is made in the tank 1. This sealant is injected and filled into the piping M. Thereafter, the excess sealant in the piping M is expelled and dried by the pressurized air. Finally, the valve V6 is opened and the pressurized air is confines into the piping M, whereby the airtight testing is carried out.
