Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain the conventional generator power and further contrive the small size by a method wherein a length of a part wound with magnetic field windings is formed equal to a lamination thickness of a stator core, and magnetic path sections of a rotor core disk and a stator core tooth are formed substantially similar. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic field windings 4 are wound round a magnetic field core boss 10 through a nonmagnetic and nonconductive bobbin 4a. The axial length B' of the part wound with the magnetic field windings is made almost equal to the lamination thickness A of the stator core, and a thickness C' of the core disk of the rotor and a width E of the stator core tooth are adapted to be nearly equal, and the magnetic path section per one magnetic pole is made nearly equal, for the core boss 10 of the rotor 1 made a magnetic circuit of a magnetic flux which is generated by the excitation of the magnetic field windings 4, the disk 11 and the stator core tooth, respectively. Thereby enabling span between bearings to be reduced, a weight of the rotor and the vibrations at the operation to be reduced, and the small size and high power to be attained.
