Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the break of wire or the rupture of a solar battery during its manufacture by a method wherein solar battery elements having the electrode parts been taken out on two parallel edges are connected to construct frames having wiring parts in grooves. CONSTITUTION:An under electrode layer 11 is formed on an insulating base plate 10, and a P-N junction layer 12 is manufactured thereon. An upper electrode layer 13 is a transparent electrode or a comb-shaped electrode. The upper and the lower electrode layers 11, 13 are formed along two parallel edges of the base plate 10. Solar battery elements are inserted into a series connecting solar battery structure frame having solar battery holders 14 consisted of conductors provided with grooves (concave parts) to be in contact with the electrode layers and of a supporting frame 15 consisted of an insulator supporting each holder 14 to constitute a solar battery structure having each element been connected in series.
