Abstract

PURPOSE:To offer a small-sized transfer recorder, by forming the layer of a thermofusible ink on the surface of an ink roller or the like, and heating and melting the ink layer by laser beams or the like to transfer the ink layer as ink dots directly onto a record sheet. CONSTITUTION:A reform roller 16, onto the periphery of which a fine wire 17 is spirally wound, is constantly pressed onto a rotatable ink roller 15 with a constant pressure, to form an ink layer 21 by the rotation of the ink roller 15. When a record signal is inputted to stop the rotation of the ink roller 15, laser beams 23 discharged from a laser source 22 are reflected by a scanner, condensed by a lens 25, and deflected vertically against the ink roller 15 by a flat beam deflector. When the laser beams are radiated through a record sheet 26 onto the surface of the ink layer 21, the ink at the relevant fine point is melted and transferred as a dot onto the record sheet 26. A plate press 27 for the record sheet 26 has a thermal ray permeability.
