Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply necessitate exchanging the cartridge column alone inspite of degradation in function by building a removable column which is sealed at both ends by filters and contain packing into a cylindrical hollow pipe provided with liquid feed ports at both ends. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge column 2 is housed in a cylindrical hollow pipe 1, and both ends of a cylindrical hollow pipe 1 are sealed by nipples 5 having holes permitting insertion of connecting pipes 3 and 3' and liquid feed ports 4 and 4', whereby the precolumn is constituted. The cartridge column 2 is pressed from both sides by the nipples 5 and 5', by which the cartridge column 2 is fixed. The column 2 is formed of a hollow pipe 6, filters 7, 7' and seals 8, 8', and packing is filled therein. The filters 7, 7' filter the insoluble material mixed in the developing liquid which is being fed. The packing functions as a filter medium for such microinsoluble materials that cannot be removed with the filters alone.
