CONSTITUTION: A container terminal is composed of two container berthes 1 and 2. Elevated rails 19W30 linking container yards 3W6 with quays 43 and 44 are positioned higher than chasis passages 7W18. Paths 31 and 32 of a transfer crane are positioned higher than the elevated rails 19W30. The perfect grade separation between the chasis paths, the elevated rails and the transfer crane avoids collision of containers assuring the safety and improved efficiency with the shortest possible travelling route of the chasis.
