Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an output waveform which is faithful to the waveform of an input signal, by paying special attention to a transient state of the amplitude variation such as leading edge, trailing edge, etc. of the input signal. CONSTITUTION:In case when an envelope of an output signal waveform A is compared with that of an input signal waveform, as for the leading edge, unless it follows the input signal, a signal waveform B is formed. Also, in case when a level of the output signal is higher than that of the input signal, a signal waveform C is formed. The signal of said signal waveform B and C is made a control signal, the automatic gain control circuit is operated, and a signal waveform D is obtained. As far as this example is concerned, the leading edge part of amplitude is amplified, and the trailing edge part is attenuated. In this way, in case when the amplitude is varied in time, the amplifying operation is generated, and as for a steady signal which is not varied in time, there is no amplifying operation.
