Abstract
PURPOSE:To cope even with a high speed change of the gain such as a change of the gain for each transmitting pulse repetition period by making up an open loop control circuit so that the control error may become a prescribed value within time of the pulse width of a pilot pulse signal. CONSTITUTION:When the signal level of the pilot pulse is fed to the circuit at a prescribed threshold Vr or less, a control circuit 17 makes counters 18, 19 be in an up-count state, and operates and halts them 18, 19 respectively. The counter 18 performs a rough counting by means of a clock pulse 21, and increases the gains of both a D/A converter 20 and an IF amplifier 11 and the output Vd of a detector 12. When the output Vd exceeds the threshold Vr, the counters 18, 19 are linked to each other to perform a minute counting, and the output Vd is decreased. When the output Vd exceeds the threshold Vr again, the counters 18, 19 are halted to keep the gain constant. And the control error becomes a value as much as the minute counting step by the linked operation of both the cunters 18, 19. In this way, the device can be made cope even with a high speed change of the gain.
