Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a means to start an engine properly according to the condition by connecting to the suction passage of the engine, an air-fuel mixture passage for a by-starter having a control valve which opens and closes corresponding to the negative pressure and temperature.
CONSTITUTION: An air-fuel mixture supply passage 4 is connected to a suction passage 2 at the downstream of a carburetor 3, said passage 4 being connected to a float chamber 6 from a valve chamber 4C of a control valve 5 via a fuel passage 4a, and also being connected to an air cleaner 8 via an air passage 4b. A negative pressure passage 9 having a delay valve 15 is connected to a negative pressure chamber 10 which is divided by a negative pressure responding member 11 supporting the control valve 5 thereby closing the control valve 5 as the negative pressure increases. A liquid type resisting means 16 consisting of such parts as a container 19 having fins 24 is connected to a liquid chamber 17 enclosing liquid such as oil etc. which expands corresponding to the rise of the ambient temperature while driving the valve 5 to the closing direction.
