Abstract
PURPOSE:To display the discharge state of the discharging battery without relation to the discharge conditions such as the magnitude of a discharge current, electrolyte temperatures, battery life, and the like, by compensating the indication of the discharge meter by the voltage drop of the battery. CONSTITUTION:A power source circuit 10 is connected to the battery 9 to be measured, and the discharge current of the battery 9 to be measured is sensed by a shunt 8. In a subtracting circuit 14, the difference between a reference voltage output of a reference voltage generator 13 and the output of a voltage measuring circuit 12 is obtained, and the value which is proportional to the voltage drop is outputted. A differential amplifier 11 differentially amplifies a minute voltage output of the shunt 8, and sends the output to a multiplying circuit 15. The voltage which is proportional to the product of a discharge current from the multiplier 15 and the voltage drop is supplied to a counter 18 via a V-F converter 16 and a frequency divider 17. The output of the counter 18 is displayed on a display 20 via a D-A converter 19. Thus, the discharge state of the discharging battery can be read directly.
