Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a quick detection for the water content of the laver sticking to the laver hurdle, by installing a sound wave transmitter and a sound wave receiver across a laver hurdle to obtain the propagation degree of sound wave and at the same time comparing the propagation degree with a chart, graph or the like showing the correlation between the water content of laver and the propagation degree of sound wave obtained previously. The water content detector 5 is provided between the part 3 and the room 4.
