Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform uniform heat treatment of the objects to be treated in a continuous heat treatment apparatus highly accurately by directly measuring the temp. of the objects to be treated and controlling heater temperatures and/or conveying speeds by using a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:Infrared ray radiation thermometers 52, 54 detect the temperatures of the objects to be treated through peep windows 48, 50, and input the detection signals thereof to a microcomputer 58 through converters 56, 60. The computer 58 is inputted with the signals of the thermometers 52, 54 alternately at, for example, every 1min, and makes controlling for maintaining the holding time 30min of annealing by this treatment. Namely, if eiter one of the thermometers 52, 54 detects the temp. above 730 deg.C of the annealing temp., the belt speed is increased and if the temp. lowers, the belt speed is decreased. In the end, the atmosphere temp. is made constant by using two thermometers 52, 54, and the treating temp. and holding time are controlled by controlling the speed of mesh belt with the computer 58.
