Abstract

PURPOSE:To preheat the material by high temperature atmosphere of a heating chamber and promote the foaming thereof by a method wherein upper and lower die members consisting of endless belts are accommodated in the heating chamber and a front surface material and a back surface material, both having flexibility, are run through the heating chamber to guide them to the inlet of the die members. CONSTITUTION:The die members 11, 12 are accommodated in the heating chamber 16 and the front surface material F as well as the back surface material R are supplied from the delivery end side of the members to transfer them to the inlet end of the die members under a condition that they are passed apart from the die members 11, 12. The material M of the foamed layer 5 is supplied inbetween the front surface material F and the rear surface material R from a material supplying device 13 at the inlet end of the members and is laminated integrally with the materials at the space between the die members. Heating devices 14a, 14b are provided in the internal part of the die members. The front and the back surface materials are sent into the dies under a condition that they are heated sufficiently by the high temperature atmosphere consisting of radiant heat generated from the die members and exhaust of the heating chambers.
