Abstract
PURPOSE:To exclude the aluminum sulfate and thus eliminate the variance of both the dyeing and the quality of paper, by producing the crashed fiber and then carrying out the dyeing to proceed immediately to the press and drying. CONSTITUTION:The paper material pulp is crashed to produce fibers with no dyeing given to the fibers. Then the produced fiber layer 35 are dipped into the die aqueous solution 32 together with the producing net. A sucking device is worked to give the 30-50mHg negative pressure, and thus the aqueous solution passes through the fibers to be exhausted through a small hole 33a. While the aqueous solution passes through the fibers, the dye particles or the size agent stick to the fibers for dyeing. The dyed fiber layer 35 is pressed or dried naturally and then cut to obtain a fiber diaphragm. In such method of manufacture, the press or drying is given immediately after dyeing to exclude use of the aluminum sulfate. Thus a diaphragm can be obtained with no variance of paper quality.
