CONSTITUTION:The endless tape is wound around the outside circumferential face of rell 11 and is led out from the part between pole braces and is took up onto the outside circumferential face of reel 11 through head mechanism 14, capstan 15, guide plates 17 and 18, and overturn guide 19 with a free tension. Reel 11 is formed by arranging many pole braces 23a, 23b..., which are supported rotatably between ring 24 and bottom plate 20, into a ring. Therefore, the tape is rotated on the outside circumferential face of rell 11 smoothly with a low resistance, so that a stable running characteristic is obtained. Even in case of a high speed, the excessive tension is not applied to the tape, and the running control is performed with a low torque surely.
