Abstract

PURPOSE: To exactly perform the work of scraping and lifting sediments by supporting reaction force during the scraping motion by a support link attached to the link of a scraping portion.
CONSTITUTION: Two endless chains 13 are coupled with sprocket wheel groups 4W12. A large number of buckets 14 are connected to the chains 13, and the lower end of a mobile ink 16 is rotatably attached by a pin 15 to the left end of the raking ink of a scraping and lifting apparatus by which sediments on the basin bottom is housed, raked up, and discharged by reversely turning the buckets. The upper end of the mobile link 16 is coupled with a roller guide 18 by a roller 17 in such a way as to enable it to move toward the longitudinal direction on the side of a beam 3, and the lower end of a support link 19 is rotatably attached by a pin 21 to the midway of the mobile link and also its upper end is rotatably attached by a pin 21 to the beam 3. Thus, reaction forces to be applied to the raking direction and its opposite direction during the raking motion are supported by the support link 19 through the mobile link 16. Also, since the raking portion is made up of the links 10, 16, and 19, the pin 15 always goes vertically all the time when rising the raking portion.
