Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain the miniaturization of an equipment by a mechanism wherein a rail for running a shovel car is constructed along the longitudinal direction of a sand precipitation pond and the running of a shovel car and the tilting movement of a bucket are combined for scraping and scooping of sand.

CONSTITUTION: At the one end portion of many parallel sand precipitation ponds 1, is provided a traverser 2 which can run on a rail Ra along the cross direction against each sand precipitation pond and move when a shovel car is moved to each sand precipitation pond. To each sand precipitation pond, a bucket 36 is supported by a free swingable arm at the leading end thereof so as to be adjusted according to the depth of said sand precipitation pond and, moreover, a sprocket wheel is provided at the upper and the lower end of a support arm 33 and a chain is provided between both wheels to enable the tilting movement of a bucket 36. The precipitated sand and the like are scraped up and discharged by the comined action of the reciprocal running of a shovel car, the swinging movement of a support arm and the tilting movement of a bucket, therefore it is unnecessary to install a shovel car one by one to each sand precipitation pond and the miniaturization of an equipment is attained.
