Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a sound from being ceased completely owing to protecting operation, by decreasing a maximum output in case of an overload. CONSTITUTION:To detect a supply current from power source E1 to load 6 via output transistor TR2, resistance 8 is connected between diode 1 and power source E1, and protective TR10 for the protection by turning off output TR4 diode 9 is also connected between the base of output TR4 and the common connection point of diode 1 and resistance 8. Further, resistances 11 and 12 are connected to divide the voltage drop across resistance 8 due to the supply current from power source E1 to output TR2, and a voltage applied to resistance 12 is applied as an input to protective TR10. In addition, capacitor 14 is connected in parallel to resistance 12 to hold the voltage applied to resistance 12 for a certain time. Furthermore, a similar protective device is provided to the path for the current supply from power source E2 to output TR4.
